In 2018 I was selected for the Short Film Corner with my debut film Death Is the Place On Earth. I was also invited by Global Women of Color in Film - Diversity in Cannes to screen the film at the Palais G . This was my first time at Cannes Film festival.
5 years later, I came back but this time to represent the film Flowers.
At the beginning of the year, I received a call from Luis Pedron, director of the International film Festival Manhattan, to join him and other talented artists for an Industry screening at Cannes 2023. After careful selection, he sent our films to the Marché Du Film - Cannes Film Festival and Flowers directed by the award-winning Tania Cattebeke Laconich was selected to be screen at Palais H. I was representing the film as the lead actress.
What a joy, it was to be back!
